English Language Assistance Program
Assists students for whom English is a second or non-native language.
Amy Jacobson, the English Language Tutor, works with individual students to help them with processing course material.

Mathematics Tutoring Lab: This lab is located in Swart 113 and is designed to assist students enrolled in Math 104, 106, 108, 109, 110, 171, 172, 201, 204, 206, 211, 217, 273 and PBIS 189.
Developmental Mathematics Lab: This lab is located in Swart Hall 301 and welcomes all Math 100 Elementary Algebra I, Math 101 Elementary Algebra II, and Math 103 Intermediate Algebra students.

Reading & Study Skills Center
The Reading & Study Skills Center is an all-university service whose mission is to facilitate the development of efficient college-level learning strategies in students of all abilities. Strategies for improved textbook study, time management, note-taking, test preparation and test-taking are taught through both credit courses and non-credit services. Student Technology Center
The Student Technology Center (STC) offers help with software and presentations, equipment checkout, high quality color printing, and graphics.
The UWO Writing Center
The UWO Writing Center is a relaxed, friendly place to get free feedback on writing, presentations, and speeches. They are open to all current (both undergraduate and graduate) UWO students. The Writing Center provides free face-to-face sessions for writers of any level in any discipline. Use the Writing Center at any stage of the writing process for any assignment or project.
The College of Business provides accounting tutors for Business 206 and Business 207 in Sage 2478. Please contact the Accounting Department for more information.
Computer Science Tutoring
Open tutoring sessions in Halsey. Classes targeted for tutoring include Comp Sci 142, 221, 251, and 262. Please contact the Computer Science Department for more information.
Drop-in tutoring in Sage. The program is a part of the College of Business. Please contact their department for more information.
Help for 100-level geology courses is available on a drop-in basis in Harrington 114.
Information Systems Tutoring
Open tutoring sessions are available. The classes targeted for tutoring primarily include IS 201, 315, 316, and 318. This program is a part of the College of Business. Please contact their department for more information.
Other On-Campus Student Resources
Provides students with with career information, advice and occupational guidance. Students are also able to utilize the Career Closet, which provides students with the opportunity to find interview appropriate attire for free (up to four items per semester). The Counseling Center provides a place of inspiration and wellness of all students. Their approach includes a balance of treating mental illness concerns and strengthening the essential aspects of mental health. Dean of Students
Supports students through advocacy, care, guidance, and support by among other activities, advocating for students, working to solve problems, serving as a first stop for students when they do not know where to turn, and working to ensure a safe and inclusive community for students.
The Accessibility Center is housed within the Dean of Students Office. Offering a range of services, they coordinate reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities, providing students an opportunity to reach their full potential along with promoting independence and self-advocacy.

Student Health Center
The Student Health Center at UW Oshkosh offers healthcare services to currently enrolled students. Services include medical care, such as birth control, GYN exam and PAP test, illnesses and injuries, immunizations, physical exams and procedures. The UWO Student Health Center also offers laboratory, psychiatry, nutrition, travel health, prescriptions, and medical records services. Visit their website to learn more about their services.
Division of Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence
Works to support everyone on campus, providing students with a variety of resource centers (LGBTQ Resource Center, Women’s Center), services (American Indian Student Services, Men of Color Initiative, Student Support Services) and programming (Multicultural Retention Programs, PreCollege Programs) all located in the Campus Center for Equity & Diversity. Polk Library provides access to over 500,000 traditional print book collections (books, journals, periodicals, microforms, government documents, etc) and over 25,00 electronic text databases in the form of journal collections and books.
